OTW by Vans x Gallery Dept. Reunites for a Fourth Collaboration

OTW by Vans is back with its fourth collaboration with Los Angeles–based Gallery Dept., marking a vibrant return to one of Vans’ most iconic silhouettes. The project channels the disruptive, free-flowing creativity of Gallery Dept. founder and multidisciplinary artist Josué Thomas, reimagining the legendary Authentic, originally known as Style 44, through the raw lens of the painter’s studio. 

The latest OTW by Vans x Gallery Dept. Authentic is drenched in color, with expressive paint splatters that reflect Thomas’ unfiltered approach to creation. Sidewalls wrapped with “Art That Kills” screenprinting echo the bold graphics and rebellious ethos that have become synonymous with the artist’s work. This collaboration captures the story of Thomas’ creative process as it unfolds directly on his beloved Vans, transforming an everyday essential into a living canvas of self-expression.
